What is Mahr al-Azwaj?
The mahr the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) gave his blessed wives: 500 dirhams of silver, 1,530.9 grams, established in Sahih Muslim 1426. Our Azwaj collection meets and exceeds it with 50 one-ounce certified coins totalling 1,555 grams.
What is Mahr Fatimi and how much is it?

Is silver a valid mahr?
Yes. Silver is the original medium of the Prophetic mahr; the dirham itself was a silver coin. A mahr in physical silver is valid in all four schools and belongs exclusively to the bride.
Are Amanah mahr sets certified?

Can the mahr be small?
Yes. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said the best mahr is the easiest (Abu Dawud; Sahih Ibn Hibban). A single certified silver coin, given sincerely into her hands, fulfils the obligation with dignity.
