• The Single Mahr Coin. One full troy ounce of 999 fine silver. It meets the classical Ḥanafī minimum Mahr of ten dirhams, with a margin above it.
• Qur’anic Verse on Every Coin. Each coin bears the verse وَخَلَقْنَاكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا [Surah An-Naba 78:8], “And We created you in pairs”.
• Kufic Arabic Edge Inscription. The edge carries في الدنيا والآخرة, “In this World and the Hereafter”.
• Certified and verifiable. 999 fine, UAE minted, IDCC blockchain certified.
• Build any Mahr from it. One coin fulfils the minimum with dignity. Any number of coins builds the Mahr the two of you agree.

The smallest Mahr that is still real

A man came to the Prophet ﷺ wishing to marry, and he had nothing to give. The Prophet ﷺ did not turn him away. He told him: “Seek something, even if it be a ring of iron.” It is recorded in Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī.

The Mahr never had to be large. It had to be real, and it had to be given.

The Ḥanafī school sets the floor at ten dirhams of pure silver. At the IDCC dirham weight of 3.0618 grams, that is 30.6 grams. A single Amanah coin is one full troy ounce, 31.103 grams, so one coin meets the classical minimum with a margin above it.

The evidence

The other schools set no fixed minimum: anything of genuine value suffices. One full ounce of certified silver therefore satisfies every school. A Mahr she can hold

A Mahr written into the contract as a figure is a promise. A coin of silver is placed into her hands on the day, and it is hers from that moment. However modest the amount, it is real, it is delivered, and no one else has a claim to it.
