What is Mahr al-Azwaj?
The mahr the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) gave his blessed wives: 500 dirhams of silver, 1,530.9 grams, established in Sahih Muslim 1426. Our Azwaj collection meets and exceeds it with 50 one-ounce certified coins totalling 1,555 grams.
What is Mahr Fatimi and how much is it?
No single sahih narration fixes the exact mahr of Sayyidah Fatimah (RA); reckonings range from 1,224 to 1,750 grams. Following the cautious 400-mithqal position (1,750 grams), our Fatimi collection contains 60 one-ounce certified coins totalling 1,866 grams. Today's value is on the Mahr Calculator.
Is silver a valid mahr?
Yes. Silver is the original medium of the Prophetic mahr; the dirham itself was a silver coin. A mahr in physical silver is valid in all four schools and belongs exclusively to the bride.
Are Amanah mahr sets certified?
Every set is minted in 999 fine silver, hallmarked, and certified by the Islamic Monetary Council and the Islamic Digital Certification Council, with a QR-verified certificate and free insured vaulting in Dubai, held in her name.
Can the mahr be small?
Yes. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said the best mahr is the easiest (Sunan Ibn Majah 1887). A single certified silver coin, given sincerely into her hands, fulfils the obligation with dignity.
